We offer the Independence community Youth Football that is safe, engaging and prepares kids for excellence on and off the field
We believe football can be a meaningful platform to support the kids in Independence to engage in fun physical activity, develop strong character, build meaningful friendships and earn self-confidence.
Our aim is to help kids learn a lifelong path to total-person wellness through the sport of football. We will not only teach the fundamentals of the game but also how to respect others, foster a positive attitude, work well with others and more.

Participation over winning
Every kid in our program has value and deserves a positive experience. We stress having fun and all of our kids enjoying meaningful participation in every game. Our kids will get chance to play both line and skill positions (Quarterback, Running Backs and Receivers) so everyone gets a chance to shine.
FOOTBALL THAT IS FUN AND SAFE
We love football. We believe it’s a great way for molding young boys to becoming healthy, disciplined, honorable adults.
We incorporate guidelines based on a national program, USA Football, that is supported by 3 of America’s largest sports medical organizations. We use their Football Development Model (FDM) for introducing our players to contact gradually, safely and in a controlled environment.
The truth is youth football is the safest it’s ever been, considering the equipment improvements, rule changes for games, limited contact in practices, coach education/certification, age appropriate tackling skill development and more.

Football is about community. We strive to create a culture where everyone involved feels like they are a part of something special; the kids, parents, coaches, sponsors and board. We are committed to practices where everyone “wins” and fun is had by all.
