2024 FLAG FOOTBALL:

1st /2nd GRADE

Flag football is a lot fun and the perfect game type for our younger players to get comfortable with the game. We will have an 8 week, 7 game season and teams will be lead by USA Football Flag Certified coaches.

• Cost: $125 (price on the Spotlight is outdated and has been increased to account for new referee fees this season)

• Key Dates:

  • July 29 - Registration closes ($25 late fee for late registrations)

  • July 25 - Parent Meeting 7pm @ Kiwanis Pavilion

  • Week of August 5 - First Practice

  • August 21 - First Game

  • August 26 - Picture Day @ Fieldhouse

  Practices: Saturdays 8am -9am

• Games: Wednesdays 6:00 pm and 7:00pm at Zuber Field. We may have an end of season bowl game on a Saturday night (TBD).

Flag Football and all of our offerings are for Independence residents only and SMS non-residents who were grandfathered into our program who participated in Fall Football in 2022.
