2022 Season Details

New in 2022:

• $10 price increase for Victory Camp as well as Rookie Flag and Flag.  Now that we are in our 3rd year we have a much clearer picture of our program costs from when we started in 2020.

• Advanced K participants will be permitted to play up at the 1st/2nd Flag level, at parents discretion.

• 1st/2nd Flag will possibly play 2 games vs. Avon, 1 home and 1 away

• Rookie Flag will play at 9am on Saturdays at the Old Middle School Field.  This way we can use the smaller lined fields, give the kids time to sleep in and access to warmer temps and dryer grass.

Other Important Info:

• Equipment Night: 3rd - 6th graders June 30th 4:30 -6:30 at IHS Stadium Locker Room

• Youth Night Varsity Football Game:  Friday August 26th 7pm

• There is a $25 fee for St. Michaels non-residents for all Fall Football registrations 

Location/dates of practices and games subject to change as final league information is still to come. We just want to share our best estimate on details with the information we have at this point in late April.

 Rookie Flag PreK/K: 

·      Cost: $65 (includes T-shirt)

·      Registration:  5/16 – 7/30 (PreK must turn 4 prior to 9/1)

·      Duration:  7 weeks

·      Flag Camp: August 13th 8-9am at HIS

·      Sessions: Saturdays 8/20 – 9/24 9am at Old Middle School Field

·      Format:  30 minutes of skill development and 30 minutes of modified flag football game play

 Flag K-2nd:

·      Cost $95 (includes jersey)

·      Registration:  5/16 – 7/30

·      Duration:  8 weeks (possibly 10)

·      Practices:  Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm at High School practice field starting 8/9

·      Games:  Saturdays 8/20 – 10/15 8am at IHS Stadium (10/1 Championship/Consolation game)  (possible 10/8 and 10/15 games vs. Avon 1 home and 1 at Avon times TBA)

 Padded Flag 3rd/4th:

·      Cost $125 ($100 early bird week) + Equipment Fees

·      Registration:  5/16 – 6/30 (early bird 5/9-5/15)

·      Duration: 11 weeks

·      Equipment Night:  6/30 location/time TBA

·      First Practice:  Week of August 15th

·      Practices:  Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7pm at Old Middle School Field (The first few weeks we may have additional practices as well as practice Saturdays 8/20, 8/27 and a scrimmage on 9/3)

·      League:  Avon Youth Football (Avon, Rocky River and Independence)

·      Games:  Saturdays 9/10 – 10/29 between 10am and 4pm (Expect 3-4 games in Avon, 2-3 games at Rocky River and 2-3 games in Independence)

 Rookie Tackle 5th/6th:

·      Cost $125 ($100 early bird week) + Equipment Fees

·      Registration:  5/16 – 6/30 (early bird 5/9-5/15)

·      Duration: 11 weeks

·      Equipment Night:  6/30 location/time TBA

·      First Practice:  Week of August 15th

·      Practices:  Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7pm at Old Middle School Field (The first few weeks we may have additional practices as well as practice Saturdays 8/20, 8/27 and a scrimmage on 9/3)

·      League:  Chagrin Valley Conference Youth Football (Independence, Chagrin Falls, Beachwood, Hawken, University School, Grand Valley, Cardinal, Berkshire, Trinity, Wickliffe, Orange, Cuyahoga Heights)

·      Games:  Saturdays and Sundays 9/10 – 10/29 at any of the above-mentioned schools in the conference between 9am and 2pm.  Expect to have 1-2 home games.  

 Equipment Fees: (Padded Flag & Rookie Tackle)

·      Riddell Helmet $97 + tax or rent used for $35 for the season 

·      Shoulder pads $46 =+ tax (we will have a small amount that we will rent for $20 for the season)

·      Integrated pants $28 + tax

·      Practice jersey $14 = tax

·      Reversible game jersey $55 = tax

·      Total:  $185 + tax ($123 – tax)

·      If you purchase a helmet and/or shoulder pads and your kid outgrows the original size you can trade it in.
